Louisville photographer Kelly Davenport creates images that capture the essence of the person and/or place that she is photographing.

Kelly has combined her passion for photography with her love for travel. She has shot photos on three continents. But one of her favorite places to shoot is the scenic landscapes of her "Old Kentucky Home." Kelly's travels has trained her to look at her hometown in a different light and today she shoots the Kentuckiana area like she would an exotic destination.

One thing she has learned from her travels - is that a smile is a smile in any language. Kelly enjoys the challenge of capturing that special smile. That smile that a mother says is the essence of their child. Or a smile that reveals the the unique human spirit.

Kelly is a self-taught natural light photographer who has been shooting for more than 20 years. She uses Kentucky and Southern Indiana’s beautiful scenery as a backdrop. One of her favorite spots to shoot family, senior and engagement photos is the Falls of the Ohio in Southern Indiana.

In addition to landscapes and portraiture, Kelly helps preserve memories by combining candid and photojournalistic styles to create visual stories to document special events from nonprofit bike rides and bowl-a-thons to parties and outings. Clients include the MS Society and the Spina Bifida Association of Kentucky.

In Kelly's full time gig, she has won numerous awards for her photography that has appeared in a global corporate employee publication.

Kelly’s fine art collection is available for residential or commercial décor and her photographs make spectacular greeting cards that are perfect to send a hand-written note for that special occasion.
